DCX Smart Cart™ is an order picking software module that batches, releases and digitally displays orders for picking. Our Smart Cart picking process allows operations to load multiple orders onto a cart to pick the orders in a cluster pick format for optimal pick efficiency.

Ties together different picking technologies, including pick-to-light, put-to-light, pick-to-conveyor, pack-to-light, uses HTML5 mobile application which can run on any device with a modern browser.
In addition to engaging with static shelving, the cart can also be directed to a carousel and can engage the carousel system to rotate to the required bins to fulfill picks to the cart.
Supports picking to batch totes which can be intermixed with order containers and picked concurrently.

Used in conjunction with waving and workload balancing, carts will be loaded with containers that share common picks and/or pick zones to make for more efficient picking.
