Goods-to-Person Order Fulfillment

In a goods-to-person model, goods are removed from storage and moved directly to the operator. This is usually done with some form of automation. Removed goods can be picked manually into one or more totes, trays, or shipping containers in order to fulfill one or more orders. Once completed, any unconsumed goods are returned to storage and the next item to be picked is presented to the operator.
