Person-to-Goods Order Fulfillment

In a person-to-goods picking methodology, the person moves to the goods, picking the goods from the pick location. For business-to-consumer situations, the picker will fulfill the orders into a shipping container or tote. In a business-to-business application, the picker traditionally picks either full cases to build a partial pallet or a full pallet that will be then transported to the proper shipping dock. Person-to-goods technology can help speed up order fulfillment and reduce pick errors.
